Danica Patrick (7) sent Sam Hornish Jr. (12) into the wall at Talladega after Hornish squeezed her on the final lap during the Aaron’s 312.
“I don’t know,” Patrick said when asked what had happened with Hornish. “He came up to me afterward and apologized. I’m not really sure.”

The two drivers have had a long-standing feud with each other. So, as you might expect, Hornish had a different point of view.

Here’s the audio from the frantic 911 call after Junior Seau’s girlfriend finds the former San Diego Chargers linebacker in a spare bedroom with a gunshot wound to the chest.

“My God, my boyfriend shot himself! Oh my God!” Seau’s girlfriend, Megan Noderer, shouts to the 911 operator.

Oceanside, Calif., police released the recording one day after Seau’s death was ruled a suicide.

Did Junior Seau have chronic brain damage?

Forensic pathologist Benet Omalu — who first identified chronic brain damage as a factor in the deaths of some NFL players — participated in the autopsy of former All-Pro linebacker Junior Seau, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

ESPN.com reports that Omalu assisted in the autopsy because of his experience with NFL players and brain injuries.

An accident could cause the airbag to go off. Airbags deploy at speeds as high as 200 mph. That could injure or kill his son. The steering wheel itself could also hit his son in an accident.

Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose’s season-ending torn ACL isn’t a death sentence for Rose or for the Bulls’ chances in the playoffs.

“I think we all feel awful for him,” Thibodeau said. “Derrick’s not only a great player, he’s a great teammate. He’s a great person. But it’s not a death sentence. It’s not a death sentence for him. It’s not a death sentence for our team. He’s going to come back. He’ll come back better than ever. It’s just the way it is and we’ve got to deal with it.”
