NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” took on the case of fired Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice by finding an even more menacing basketball coach.

Rice was fired last week after a video showed him verbally and physically abusing players on his team.

But SNL wants you to know that Rice’s behavior is nothing compared to how Middle Delaware State coach Sheila Kelly acts.

Louisville’s Kevin Ware after breaking leg: “You guys go win this thing.”

Louisville’s Kevin Ware delivered an inspiring message to his Cardinals teammates after he broke his leg in the Elite Eight game against Duke.

He was lying in front of the Louisville bench in the first half. His right leg was so badly broken that the bone was showing through his skin. Ware called his teammates over.

“Don’t worry about me,” Ware said according to CBS’ Tracy Wolfson. “I’ll be okay, you guys go win this thing.”

CBS/Turner NCAA basketball analyst Charles Barkley believes he’s been overexposed and worked too hard during all the TV coverage of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

“I do think I was overexposed,” Barkley told the New York Daily News. “I have been addressing it with them and hopefully they will change it up.”

A very young Baylor fan stormed the court during the Oklahoma vs. Baylor game Wednesday night.

Apparently he thought he could help his team win if they just gave him the ball.
But that wasn’t in the playbook.

The kid ran onto the court with 8:41 remaining in the second half of the Big 12 matchup. Officials stopped the game.

Kentucky Wildcats’ basketball fan Nicholas Weber is so fanatical about his team that he replaced his glass eye with a new one that has a “UK” logo on it.

According to Kentucky Sports Radio, the sales representative lost his left eye in an accident. This week, he decided to get a new glass eye that shows off his allegiance to the Big Blue.
