Video: Baylor’s Brittney Griner dunks again
Check out the video.
Baylor’s 6-foot-8 All-American Brittney Griner threw down this dunk as the Lady Bears moved into the NCAA regional finals for the third straight year with an 83-68 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Griner, who finished with 35 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks, took a pass from Brooklyn Pope and dunked with 6:29 left in the game. You could see her swinging briefly on the rim.
“I wanted to get one in this game,” said Griner. “Brooklyn got me the ball and I just went up and slammed it.”
This is the second straight game where Griner dunked and the seventh slam of her college career.
She’s now tied with former Tennessee star Candace Parker, who held the record for two dunks in NCAA tournament play.

It news because just like Cowgirl said, it something you don’t see in every woman’s basketball game. I think it’s great to see a woman throw it down like that. I want to see more. A technical, please stop hating…
