Justin Blackmon’s embarrassing DUI video

June 15, 2012 NFC, NFL No Comments

Check out the police surveillance video.

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon told Stillwater (Okla.) Police that “I’m literally not a drinker,” after he blew a 0.24 and a 0.26 during a breathalyzer test. That’s more than three times the legal limit of 0.08.

First Coast News obtained the booking video of Blackmon inside the jailhouse when he was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI.

Blackmon, chosen fifth overall in the NFL draft, wore a Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers jersey as he tried to answer questions inside a jailhouse booking room.

“When’s the last time you drank heavily?” the jailer asked.

“Well, I mean, I drank tonight,” Blackmon said. “But this is the first time I’ve been here in Stillwater.”

The former Oklahoma State star wideout, who pleaded not guilty to the aggravated DUI charge, fumbled through some very basic questions.

When the jailer asked if he was married, single or divorced, Blackmon said: “Um, neither. I mean I’m single.”

“Are you employed?” the jailor asks.

“No,” Blackmon said, even though he had been drafted by the Jags.

Blackmon has apologized for the arrest. But he won’t live down the embarrassment.
