Video: Motorcycle racer crashes into deer

August 9, 2012 Buzz 3 Comments

Check out the video.

Braden Childers hit a deer as he was competing in a two-day, 350-mile motorcycle race called Rally West Virginia.

The deer jumped out in front of him. Childers captured all of it on his helmet-cam.

“I definitely hit the ground sliding and rolling, but I just kept rolling and hopped up,” Childers said.

He didn’t get hurt and the deer took off.

“It ran into the woods as I got up,” Childers said. “It was already gone when I looked back.”

The concern for the deer this rider displays is touching…

    That’s sarcasm BTW.

Who took the still shot that appears above the text “Childers captured all of it on his helmet-cam”?

I do not see anybody in the video positioned from where that shot was taken.

I also cannot resolve why the guardrail behind Childers in that image appears so much closer than in the video, when Childers looks in that direction (0:17-0:18).

Did Childers slide and roll over 125 feet?

Nice to see he checked on the deer!
    Moron.
