Video: Skateboarder collides with deer

A skateboarder traveling about 40 mph collided with a deer during the Buffalo Bill Downhill race in Golden, Colo.
The video shows the deer running across the road. That’s when it collided with the skateboarder. The two of them rolled into the dirt and the trees on the side of the road.
7NEWS in Denver reports that the skateboarder suffered some pretty serious scrapes. But he didn’t break any bones. The deer wasn’t hurt.
Caution: There are some expletives that can be heard in the video.
But what would you say if you saw someone slamming into a deer while riding a skateboard?
Deer are dumb. I have watched elk actually look both ways before crossing and was not alone when witnessing a lead bull signaling to others when to cross a highway in Washington State. Smart critters!
