Brooklyn Nets’ Andrei Kirilenko reportedly allowed to “cheat” on his wife once a year
Former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrei Kirilenko agreed to a two-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets worth an estimated $3.18 million a year.
But the deal that he has with his wife, Russian pop singer Masha Lopatova, is much more interesting.
Kirilenko reportedly gets to have sex with another woman once a year. No kidding!
“If I know about it, it’s not cheating,” Lopatova said via the Daily Mail. “Male athletes in this country are extremely attractive. They get chased by women. It’s hard to resist. It’s the way men are by nature.”
Kirilenko and Lopatova, who are now American citizens, have been married for 13 years and they have two sons, Fedya, 11, and Stepan, 6.
There’s no evidence that Kirilenko, who has been in the NBA since 1999, has taken up his wife on her unique offer. He’s happy just to be with her.
In fact, while he’s allowed to have sex with another woman once annually, the agreement doesn’t apply to Lopatova.
She has to stand by her man, despite any temptation.
Now that’s an unusual marriage agreement.
