Kentucky Wildcats’ basketball fan Nicholas Weber is so fanatical about his team that he replaced his glass eye with a new one that has a “UK” logo on it.

According to Kentucky Sports Radio, the sales representative lost his left eye in an accident. This week, he decided to get a new glass eye that shows off his allegiance to the Big Blue.

Former Florida Gators’ guard Erving Walker was arrested for allegedly stealing a $3 taco from a street vendor and running from police.

Walker wasn’t jailed. But he was given a notice to appear in court in a case that’s guaranteed to cost more in legal fees than the total value of the taco.

FBI investigating Auburn’s Varez Ward for alleged point shaving

The FBI is investigating suspended Auburn point guard Varez Ward for alleged point shaving.

Point shaving is illegal. It’s the act of deliberately limiting the number of points scored by your team in return for gambling payments.

“We are very concerned by the point shaving allegations involving Auburn University men’s basketball program and have been in contact with the school and the FBI since the issue arose in February,” the NCAA said in a statement. “The NCAA takes any allegation of point shaving very seriously because sports wagering threatens two of our core principles – the well-being of student-athletes and the very integrity of intercollegiate sport.

New Orleans police are looking for an Alabama fan that allegedly committed a sexual battery on an unconscious LSU fan at a fast food restaurant following the BCS National Championship Game. They’re asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

“The police department became aware of this Sunday and the investigation techniques that we’re using really are best kept within out department for right now,” said New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas.
