Leno spoofs Tim Tebow’s arrival in New York
Tim Tebow is back to being the punch line for late night comedy shows now that he’s become a New York Jet.
Jay Leno set up this video for Tebow’s arrival in the Big Apple. It shows Tebow in a Popemobile.
The Jets will officially introduce Tebow on Monday during what promises to be a media circus.
In fact, the franchise is expecting so many reporters and photographers that they’re going to hold Tebow’s news conference inside a field house the size of a football field. They’ve never done that before.
“Is he going to arrive on his private jet?” one Jets player asked sarcastically, speaking on the condition of anonymity. “This is unbelievable.”
The Denver Broncos removed Tebow’s photos from their headquarters after Peyton Manning signed his five-year, $96 million deal with the team.
But Tebowmania is about to hit New York in a very big way.
