Video: Joe Buck calls a hypothetical Cubs’ World Series win

FOX Sports’ Joe Buck gave his version of a play-by-play call if the Chicago Cubs actually won the World Series. It’s purely hypothetical, of course.
Keep in mind that the last time the Cubs won the World Series was in 1908. The last time they appeared in the World Series was in 1945. That’s the longest World Series drought in the history of Major League Baseball.
Buck delivered his imaginary World Series call during a recent Red Cross Evening of the Stars charity event in Normal, Ill.
WBNQ’s Susan Saunders, who shot the smart phone video, isn’t sure why it’s in black and white.
But when you consider that film was shot in black in white in 1908 — when the Cubs last won the Series — then the lack of color is certainly appropriate.
